This can significantly optimize performance for when you have to drive on more rugged terrain, and it will keep you moving in the right direction. All-Season Power There are few different engine choices with the CX-5. The standard engine is a 2.5-liter model that can generate 186 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque. The other option is a turbo model. It also has a displacement of 2.5 liters, but because it has the turbocharger, it can churn out up to 250 horsepower and 320 pound-feet of torque.
